Can Tho Rice Noodle Factory & Villages
Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
We took the 3 PM tour and Thomas led us with such warmth and care. The market was less busy, but the colors, scents, and scenes still made for a unique experience. Thomas talked a lot about river ecology, family traditions, and how this lifestyle has adapted. The pineapple was so juicy, and the walk through the village allowed us to connect with a few locals. But the canal at sunset? That was everything — the light filtered through the leaves, the water calm like glass. A serene and stunning moment I’ll never forget.
We chose the 9 AM tour with Lâm and couldn’t have been happier. While it was a bit warmer, the boat ride was breezy and relaxing. Lâm is a passionate storyteller — from the market’s history to how people live along the riverbanks. Though it wasn’t sunrise, the scenes were full of life and color. The walk through the quiet village was beautiful and the canal cruise felt like drifting through a green painting. I appreciated that this was a slow, thoughtful tour — no rush, no crowds, just us and the rhythm of the river.
