Can Tho Rice Noodle Factory & Villages
Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
We did the 5 AM option and wow, what a start to the day. Hieu was full of energy even before sunrise and made the entire experience smooth and interesting. The sampan glided across a sleepy river as the world slowly woke up. Watching the locals having their morning coffee on boats, trading fruit, and sharing smiles felt like being inside a postcard. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast on board and the fresh pineapple was just the cherry on top. This is not just a tour, it’s a memory.
The 3 PM sampan ride with Duy was a dream. The heat had softened, the breeze over the river was cool, and everything was bathed in that magical late afternoon glow. Duy was incredibly engaging and shared personal stories about growing up in the Mekong that made everything more meaningful. The floating market at this time was calm, but still alive. What stood out most was the quiet canal — 20 minutes of absolute peace surrounded by nature. It was the highlight of our week in southern Vietnam.
