Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
I joined the 5 AM tour and I’m so glad I didn’t hit snooze. Lâm picked us up right on time and from the first moment, made us feel welcome. The floating market, with boats full of fruits and breakfast soup, felt so alive yet peaceful. Lâm knew everyone — it was like walking through a village with the mayor! The canal ride was my favorite, gliding slowly through palms and silence. The tour ended with a walk through a tiny village, where I got a real sense of daily life. This tour is a memory I’ll keep forever.
Thomas was such a fantastic guide — knowledgeable and fun, with a deep appreciation for local culture. We took the sunrise tour and although the sky was a bit cloudy, the atmosphere was serene and poetic. The floating market was smaller than expected, but so authentic. The sampan ride felt like a step back in time. I appreciated that the village walk was very short and easy, allowing me to see daily life up close. We even saw school kids waving at us! This is a soulful experience — go for it if you want something genuine.
