  • Pick-up at 05:00 AM (or 9AM or 3 PM)
    Our car and English speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Ninh Kieu 1st pier for embarking the sampan - small boat.
  • Option 1: The 5 AM - 8 AM include:
    Take a sampan - small boat for Cai Rang floating market & Can Tho river, have (included) breakfast & coffee, fresh pineapple, non-touristy village (about 500 meters of walking), peaceful small canal (20 minutes) and watch the sunrise (sometimes) on the Can Tho tributary of Mekong River.
  • Option 2: The 9 AM - 12 NOON include:
    Take a sampan - small boat for Cai Rang floating market & Can Tho river, fresh pineapple, non-touristy village (about 500 meters of walking), peaceful small canal (20 minutes) and no the sunrise (sometimes) on the Can Tho tributary of Mekong River. No breakfast & coffee. The weather seems pretty hot at this time.
  • Option 3: The 3 PM - 6 PM include:
    Take a sampan - small boat for Cai Rang floating market & Can Tho river, fresh pineapple, non-touristy village (about 500 meters of walking), peaceful small canal (20 minutes) and watch the sunset (sometimes) on the Can Tho tributary of Mekong River. No breakfast & coffee.
  • Back to your hotel in Can Tho City
    08:00 AM (or 12 Noon or 6 PM ), car/taxi picks you up, and transfers back to your hotel in Can Tho City.

    A Calm Escape into Can Tho’s Heart

    I did the 9 AM sampan tour and it was ideal for a late riser like me. Though we missed the sunrise and breakfast, the peacefulness of the canal, the rustic charm of the riverside homes, and Minh’s storytelling made this one of the most relaxing experiences of our Vietnam trip. The 500-meter walk through the quiet village was just enough to feel connected to local life without any commercial interruptions. Minh answered all our questions, always smiling. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to escape the city and feel the real Mekong.

    Sunrise Reflections and River Wonders

    Waking up at 4:30 AM never felt so rewarding. With Hannah as our guide, we boarded the sampan just as the sky began to lighten. The Cai Rang floating market was already alive — not touristy at all, but filled with real river commerce. Hannah explained everything with such passion, and we even had the best noodle soup of our trip right on the water! The fresh pineapple, peaceful canal ride, and the silent beauty of sunrise made me feel completely immersed in local life. If you’re considering this tour — take the 5 AM option. Magical and unforgettable.
