This wasn’t just a tour. It was a memory that stays. I never imagined the Mekong Delta to be this peaceful, raw, and warm. Floating market felt like stepping into a living painting. I saw smiles, sweat, and stories in every boat. We drifted into canals that opened into a hidden fruit garden. Hannah helped translate the farmer’s stories and let us try every fruit in season. The noodle family was kind and generous — I loved the mix of smoky fire and colorful rice sheets. Cacao farm smelled like heaven, and I left with cacao beans and a jar of cacao jam. Lunch was humble but full of flavor. This is Vietnam.
Floating market in the early morning — magical! The river felt alive, full of people doing their daily routines. We ate pineapple while cruising past local vendors. Hieu was so sweet, always explaining everything with great energy. I loved the tropical fruit garden — we had dragonfruit, longan, and star apple. The noodle house was colorful and intimate, and I got to try making a rice sheet myself! At the cacao farm, the guide made us laugh with stories of “Mr. Cacao” and let us taste cacao milk. Bought some lip balm made from cacao butter too. Delicious lunch in the shade finished it all off. What a day!
