Lam was an amazing guide – funny, insightful, and clearly a food lover! From the first bite of shrimp and duck pancake, I knew I was in for something special. We visited places hidden deep in local neighborhoods, where families have cooked the same dishes for generations. And let me tell you, the “secret food” was worth the suspense. Riding on the motorbike at night, weaving through the lively streets, was such a thrill. I’m still dreaming about the pork salad rolls and the zesty dipping sauce. A must-do in Can Tho!
This was hands down one of the best nights of my entire trip to Vietnam. Duy picked me up with a huge smile and instantly made me feel at ease on the motorbike. Every food stop felt like unlocking a different chapter of Vietnamese cuisine. The fried prawn cake was freshly made right in front of us – crispy perfection! But the grilled pork rolls with all those wild herbs and star fruit? That blew me away. The rooftop café at the end, with views of the sparkling river, was the cherry on top. Duy, thank you for making this such a heartfelt and delicious journey!
