Lam was a fantastic guide who brought the Mekong countryside to life. Starting at the beautiful Binh Thuy ancient house, I was captivated by its history and cinematic connection to “The Lover.” The stroll through the organic cacao farm was relaxing and informative, with Lam sharing great stories about local life and culture. Riding the ferry to the other side of the river to see the giant ficus tree — once a secret VC base — added a powerful historical dimension. Ending the tour with delicious shrimp and duck pancakes in a lively food area was the perfect finale. Lam’s friendly personality and knowledge made this motorbike tour an authentic and memorable adventure. Highly recommend it for anyone wanting to explore Can Tho beyond the usual!
Our guide, Thanh, made the Can Tho motorbike countryside tour so special and enjoyable. The Binh Thuy ancient house was stunning, and Thanh shared amazing stories about its history and the famous film shot there. The ride across the Mekong on the ferry to visit the giant ficus tree was peaceful and full of history. We loved the break at the hammock coffee shop with refreshing sugar cane juice. The food stop was incredible—the shrimp and duck pancake were absolutely delicious and cooked right in front of us in an open kitchen. Thanh was attentive and fun, making this a memorable cultural and culinary experience. Highly recommended!
