Lam was an exceptional guide. His deep understanding of the local culture and history enriched every stop. The Binh Thuy house was a beautiful blend of French and Vietnamese architecture, and the stories Lam shared brought it to life. The visit to the cacao farm was enlightening, and the giant ficus tree, once a secret VC base, was fascinating. The riverside hammock coffee shop, with its fresh coconut juice, was the perfect spot to relax. Lam’s enthusiasm made this tour a highlight of our trip.
Our day with Duy was nothing short of magical. From the moment we visited the Binh Thuy ancient house, I felt transported back in time. Duy’s knowledge about the house’s history, especially its connection to the film ‘L’Amant,’ added a rich layer to our experience. Riding through the lush countryside, stopping at the organic cacao farm, and learning about the giant ficus tree’s wartime significance were highlights. Ending the day with a delicious shrimp and duck pancake felt like a perfect conclusion. Duy’s warmth and passion for his culture made this tour unforgettable.
