What a night! Duy was funny, passionate, and seemed to know absolutely everyone we passed. He introduced us to local legends like the woman who fries prawn cakes while singing, and the old man who prepares the Khmer soup with herbs from his garden. Each stop was more surprising than the last. The hidden food gem in the middle of the tour was magical — lanterns hanging low, laughter from other locals, and the best bite of pork I’ve ever had. And that rooftop view? I could’ve stayed for hours. This was food with heart.
David made the whole tour feel relaxed and welcoming, and he explained every dish and ingredient with such joy. He told us the prawn cakes are a Can Tho signature — and wow, I understand why. Crispy, hot, full of flavor. I loved the Khmer soup too — slightly tangy, soothing, and with a depth I can’t describe. What made it special was how we got to meet the vendors and hear their stories. The last café stop with the rooftop view? Perfect. Cool breeze, city lights, and a warm full belly. Don’t miss this tour.
