They call it a factory but actually it is run by a family and a lot more authentic than you expect (no shops, no souvenirs). Secondly, the rice noodle is not rice paper. How and Why? Your guide will tell you! You’ll be impressed by the colorful rice noodles, and how fascinating the rice noodles are made by locals. When people ask me what to see in Mekong today. I tell them view our MekongDelta365.

Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
This tour was a seamless blend of cultural immersion and natural exploration. We started early to see the floating market in full swing, with vendors serving coffee and soup right on their boats. It was vibrant but never chaotic — just life happening all around you. The noodle factory stop was a fascinating and authentic experience, and the homemade noodles we tasted were delicious! I particularly enjoyed drifting through the shady canals, feeling the gentle sway of the boat and hearing nothing but the sounds of nature. Tra Su forest was the highlight — it’s almost impossible to describe the feeling of floating silently over endless green water, framed by ancient trees. Lam, our guide, shared so much fascinating information and really cared about making sure everyone had a good time. Truly an unforgettable experience.
I initially booked this tour mainly to see the floating market, but every single part of the day surprised and delighted me. The market was bustling and lively, and it felt very genuine — not staged for tourists. The boat ride through the small canals was peaceful and dreamlike, and the visit to the local noodle factory was a lovely insight into village life. The Khmer pagoda visit added a surprising spiritual moment to the day. But the biggest surprise was Tra Su forest — it was like stepping into another world. Birds, trees, green water everywhere… it was almost magical. Special thanks to our amazing guide, Duy, who made sure everything went smoothly and kept the group energized with his stories. It wasn’t just a tour — it felt like a full journey through Vietnamese culture and nature.
