¡Gracias Duy!

    Sunrise, smiles & sweet surprises

This tour was the highlight of my trip to Vietnam. I got picked up from my hotel in Sa Dec at 4 AM and, though sleepy, the peaceful ride to Can Tho was a nice way to start the day.

Minh greeted me with energy and a big smile. The floating market was mesmerizing — such a buzz of life! Minh explained the trading culture, and we got to eat fresh pineapple from a boat vendor. “Good morning, Mekong!” indeed.

Afterward, we visited a tranquil fruit garden where I tried jackfruit and milk apple for the first time — both delicious! Minh had great stories about each fruit and how locals use them.

The noodle factory was next — absolutely fascinating. The colors, the steam, the rhythm of the work… it was almost hypnotic. And that noodle pizza with chili and herbs? Addictive!

Then came the cacao farm — unexpected and totally wonderful. I had no idea Vietnam had cacao farms. Minh walked us through the whole process, and we got to try cacao nibs, cacao wine, and creamy milk. So unique.

Lunch was hearty and homemade, just the way I like it. What a beautiful, personal experience this whole tour was.
