    Heart of the Mekong

Everything about this tour felt smooth and heartfelt. Got picked up in Sa Dec before sunrise, and by the time I met Hannah at Can Tho pier, the sky was turning gold. The boat ride through the floating market was my favorite part—seeing people start their day on the river, sipping pineapple juice as boats passed each other, it was pure life.

Hannah was lovely—knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and made us feel like we were just traveling with a local friend.

We visited a beautiful fruit garden, where I tasted fresh star apple for the first time. Then, we learned to appreciate something as simple as noodles—watching them made by hand, drying in the sun, turned into a crispy treat.

At the cacao farm, Hannah explained everything clearly. I never knew Vietnam grew cacao! I brought back a few bars and a bottle of cacao wine.

Lunch was delicious and authentic. I appreciated how unhurried everything was. The car back to Sa Dec was comfy and gave me time to reflect. Great tour, highly recommended.
