Even though we were picked up at 4 AM, I felt energized by the experience. Hannah met us in Can Tho and made everything feel seamless. I loved the floating market and how locals actually live and work on water. The tropical orchard was like walking through a natural pantry! The noodle house had such a warm family vibe—and the noodle pizza was so tasty. I didn’t know cacao could be this fascinating. It was a real privilege to meet Mr. Cacao and taste his creations.
The floating market was what drew me in, but it was everything after that made this one of the best days of my trip. David met us at the boat station with a huge smile, and the tour felt like a relaxed, well-told story of life on the Mekong. The noodle factory was such a surprise—the family was so friendly, and the food they made for us was amazing. Cacao farm was peaceful and very informative. Early start, yes—but you get so much in return.
