  • Can Tho rice noodle factory (not rice paper)
Firstly, we do not want you to miss this place. They call it a factory but actually it is run by a family and a lot more authentic than you expect (no shops, no souvenirs). Secondly, the rice noodle is not rice paper. How and Why? Your guide will tell you! You’ll be impressed by the colorful rice noodles, and how fascinating the rice noodles are made by locals. The family will serve you the yummy rice noodle pizza made by the member of the family….

What a romantic trip! Leave the crowds and the market behind and enjoy an intimate peaceful sampan ride in the secret canals on the way back to the city.

    Perfect quiet adventure with Minh

This was a side of the Mekong I didn’t expect — no hustle, no crowds, just still water and real life unfolding gently in the early light. Minh is a gem of a guide. Super knowledgeable, but also very relaxed, like a friend who knows everything about the place and is just happy to show you around.
He shared personal stories about growing up near the canals and how things have changed, which added so much depth. The noodle factory was fascinating — I’d assumed it would be touristy, but it’s actually just a humble family working with skill and patience.
The breakfast noodle soup was surprisingly great (I don’t usually eat that early) and the fruit tasting in the garden made me appreciate just how much I didn’t know about tropical plants.
But the secret canals at the end? That’s what I’ll remember forever. Just our tiny boat weaving through shaded waterways, no noise, no stress. This was the kind of tour that makes you feel like you’ve genuinely touched the place.
