Can Tho Rice Noodle Factory & Villages
Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
Lam guided us on an incredible journey through Can Tho’s floating market and secret canals. He explained everything patiently, from the history of the market to the delicate process of making rice noodles. The noodle pizza at the family workshop was unexpectedly delicious! The fruit garden stop was a delight; I loved tasting exotic fresh fruits and learning about the local plants. Finally, cruising the secret canals in a quiet sampan, away from tourists, was a serene and intimate experience. Lam’s warm personality made the trip feel personal and enriching.
We were up early to catch the magic of the Cai Rang floating market, and thanks to our guide Minh, it was an unforgettable experience. Minh’s passion and knowledge really brought the market to life—he explained the history, the changes over time, and why seeing this market now is so important. The sampan ride was peaceful yet vibrant, and the freshest pineapple and noodle soup breakfast on the boat was a delicious treat, even accommodating my vegetarian diet with care.
Visiting the family-run rice noodle factory was eye-opening and authentic, far from touristy, with colorful noodles and tasty homemade rice noodle pizza. The tropical fruit garden stop was both fun and educational, and the chance to try fresh seasonal fruits was a highlight.
The serene sampan ride through secret canals on the way back was pure bliss—no crowds, just peaceful waterway scenes and glimpses of local life. Minh’s warm personality and attentive care made the entire trip special. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a genuine Mekong Delta experience!
