Waking up early was absolutely worth it! Thomas met us at our hotel and from the moment we stepped onto the sampan, I felt like I was drifting into another world.
The floating market wasn’t staged or touristy – it was real. Our breakfast noodle soup on the boat was a true Mekong experience.
I adored the small canals, where we quietly paddled under nipa palms and listened to birdsong.
Then came the biking! I felt like I was pedaling through someone’s peaceful backyard – children waved, ducks waddled past. The cacao farm was a highlight too – learning about chocolate from the source was fascinating.
Thank you, Thomas. I’m still smiling.
