The Best Way to Experience the Real Mekong Delta!

This tour was simply fantastic. We were picked up early by our guide, Khang, who was friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. We started with a magical sampan ride to the Cai Rang Floating Market, and Khang explained so much about the market’s past, present, and uncertain future. Eating a steaming bowl of noodle soup on the river as the sun rose was something I’ll never forget!

The stop at the traditional rice noodle house was fascinating—we saw the whole process of making rice noodles, and it was so genuine, not touristy at all. The small canal paddle that followed was peaceful and beautiful—just you, the water, and nature.

The bike ride was easy and scenic. We saw life in small villages, crossed a few “monkey bridges,” and got to stop at a cacao farm, where we drank fresh cacao milk and learned all about chocolate production.

We finished in a charming fruit garden tasting seasonal fruits and learning about native plants. Everything was perfectly timed, personal, and authentic. If you want to see the real Mekong, this is the tour.

Unforgettable Morning in the Mekong—Floating Market to Fruit Gardens!

This tour was an absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish! Our guide, Linh, picked us up at 5 AM and kept us engaged and informed the entire time. The early start was 100% worth it—we caught a peaceful sunrise on the Cai Rang Floating Market, which was already bustling with activity. Linh shared amazing insights about why the market is shrinking and what it means to the local community.

We had a delicious breakfast of noodle soup right on the boat—so authentic and flavorful! Then we visited a small rice noodle factory (not rice paper!) and learned all about the traditional method, which was absolutely fascinating. Don’t skip the noodle pizza—it’s tasty and made fresh by the family!

Afterwards, we paddled through Can Tho’s peaceful canals, a truly serene experience. Then came the biking—a gentle ride through local villages and orchards, meeting friendly locals along the way. The visit to the organic cacao farm was so interesting, and we got to try cacao milk and see how chocolate is made from scratch.

We ended with a peaceful walk in a fruit garden, where Linh explained all about the native trees and fruits—plus we got to eat plenty! Everything about this tour was educational, fun, and deeply local. Highly, highly recommended!
