I’ve done quite a few cycling tours, but this one stands out. Thomas, our guide, was so passionate about sharing the history of Can Tho and the Mekong Delta. He spoke about the traditions, the local way of life, and the impact of the river in a way that felt deeply personal. The cycling was smooth, and the roads were peaceful, with lots of chances to stop and take photos of the beautiful scenery. The ferry ride across the river felt like something out of a dream. And when we arrived on the other side, it was like stepping into a different world. The sunset was simply the icing on the cake – a beautiful, peaceful moment after an unforgettable ride.
I was looking for a cycling tour that would give me a true feel of Can Tho and the Mekong Delta, and this was it! Our guide, Duy, was fantastic. He really took the time to show us local life – we saw everything from the daily activities in the villages to fishing boats crossing the river. The pace was just right, and the route was perfect for soaking in the countryside. We even stopped at a school where the children greeted us with big smiles! But the real showstopper was the sunset.
