When people ask me what to see in Mekong today. I tell them view our MekongDelta365.

Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
Thomas welcomed us with a cheerful “Ready for a little adventure?” and off we went into the countryside. I’ve biked in many countries, but nothing compares to this experience—crossing bamboo bridges, gliding under coconut palms, watching a boy paddle his boat to school.
The cacao farm was alive with history. Built in the 1960s and still run by the same family, it had a rustic charm. Thomas explained the fermentation process in simple, engaging language, and the creamy cacao drink they served was the best refreshment after our ride.
In the fruit garden, we tasted mangoes so sweet they tasted like candy. Thomas shared stories of how these gardens are handed down through generations. As we returned along the canals, I felt lighter, happier, and deeply connected to this place.
Our afternoon with Hieu was simply unforgettable. From the moment we left the city behind, the air felt different—cleaner, sweeter, alive with the scent of fruit trees. Hieu led us through narrow lanes bordered by lotus ponds and modest homes with chickens clucking freely. He knew everyone, and every “xin chào” was returned with a genuine smile.
At the cacao farm, we met the owner—Mr. Cacao himself. I was amazed to see how chocolate, something so everyday in my life, is crafted with such care and love here. Tasting the cacao milk was like drinking nature—pure and earthy, with a hint of sweetness.
We later wandered a vibrant fruit garden. Hieu introduced each plant like a friend, explaining its local name and use. The bike ride past vast rice fields as the sun slowly lowered behind palm trees was one of those rare, perfect moments. This wasn’t just tourism—it felt like being welcomed into someone’s story.
