We started early but it felt peaceful, not rushed. Lâm is really calm and explains with patience and humor. The floating market was small but very local, not commercial. The noodle house was honestly my favorite part — I didn’t expect to like that “pizza” so much. Tropical fruits were also tasty. Very good experience!
I was not excited about waking up at 4:30AM… but it was so worth it. Floating through the Cai Rang market while the sun slowly lit up the river was beautiful. David explained everything — I loved learning how the poles on the boats signal what they sell! The fresh pineapple was juicy and sweet. The noodle-making house was such a fun stop, and the “pizza” they made with the noodles was AMAZING.
