Our guide Hieu made this early morning tour an unforgettable experience. Watching the bustling Cai Rang floating market come alive at dawn was a real highlight — his insights into the market’s history and river life added so much depth. The freshest pineapple on the boat was a perfect treat to start the day. Cruising to the tropical fruit garden was wonderfully relaxing; learning about the native fruits and tasting them fresh right from the trees was a delicious surprise. The visit to the friendly family’s traditional noodle house capped off the tour beautifully, with colorful noodles and the amazing noodle pizza made by the owner’s wife leaving a lasting impression. Back at the hotel by 9 AM, it was the perfect early start to discover Mekong’s gentle morning rhythms. Highly recommend for a calm yet cultural experience!
This tour is a perfect way to start your day in Can Tho. Duy was a fantastic guide—calm, informative, and very attentive. From the moment we stepped on the boat, the atmosphere was serene. Watching the sun rise over the Mekong while boats traded fruits and goods was like stepping into a painting. Duy explained how the floating market works and even helped us chat with a vendor while we enjoyed juicy pineapple.
The stop at the orchard was also great—relaxing, quiet, and delicious. But what I enjoyed the most was the visit to the noodle house. The family welcomed us with smiles and showed us every step of the traditional noodle-making process. The handmade noodle pizza was unexpectedly tasty and fun to try. If you want a real glimpse into Mekong Delta life without crowds or gimmicks, this is the tour for you.
