    Mekong Memories I’ll Never Forget

This tour had all the things I wanted: food, culture, slow boat rides, and cool people.
Duy, our guide, was a total legend. Super friendly, always smiling, and knew his stuff without sounding like a Wikipedia page.
Seeing the coconut candy and pop rice making process was much cooler than expected. We got to sample everything—some sweet, some weird (snake wine!)—and had a good laugh.
The floating market wasn’t big, but it was still cool to see a few boats trading like the old days. Duy was honest about its decline, and I appreciate that.
The music stop on the island gave me goosebumps. It’s something I’d never experience at home.
The sampan ride was short but peaceful, and the lunch… wow. That elephant ear fish was crispy on the outside and tender inside.
Ended the day with a ride through Vinh Long’s riverside and those tall red brick kilns—very cool to see up close.
This trip made me appreciate the Mekong much more than I expected. Totally recommend it.
