Hannah was a warm and knowledgeable guide who made the Cai Be boat tour extra special. We loved the coconut candy production demonstration — it was fascinating and perfect for kids. The rowing sampan ride was so peaceful, gliding through quiet canals surrounded by nature. The Vietnamese traditional music performance added a lovely cultural layer to the day. Lunch in the garden was a great chance to rest and enjoy the fresh local flavors, especially the elephant ear fish. The pottery kiln visit in Vinh Long was eye-opening and beautiful. Hannah’s friendly approach made the day even better.
Our driver picked us up early from Ho Chi Minh City and delivered us to Cai Be boat station, where our friendly tour guide greeted us warmly. From there, we embarked on a fascinating Mekong boat trip.
The visit to the local coconut candy and pop rice workshop was both educational and fun, especially for the kids who loved sampling the sweets. Seeing traditional crafts like rice wine and snake wine production added an authentic touch to the experience.
Though the Cai Be floating market was much smaller than expected post-Covid, the atmosphere was still charming. The live Đàn Ca Tài Tử music performance on the island was a beautiful cultural highlight that deeply connected us to the local heritage.
The rowing sampan ride through quiet canals on Tan Phong Islet provided peaceful moments perfect for photos and observing daily river life.
Lunch in a garden setting with delicious elephant ear fish felt like a home-cooked meal made with care—truly a highlight of the day.
Afterward, visiting the traditional pottery and brick kilns in Vinh Long was fascinating and showed the heritage crafts that thrive in the region.
The driver was punctual and efficient on the return trip to Ho Chi Minh City. Overall, this tour was a perfect mix of culture, nature, and tasty local specialties — highly recommended for travelers wanting a genuine Mekong Delta experience.
