Chris turned what could have been just a transfer into an unforgettable adventure. I had no idea the region around Cai Be and Vinh Long was so beautiful. He kept the vibe casual but informative — I appreciated how he let us really enjoy the moment.
The coconut and rice wine demos were fun (and tasty), and the music performance was a cultural treat. The best part for me was the rowing boat on the canal — serene, surrounded by palm trees and birdsong.
We had lunch under a thatched roof with fruit trees all around, then visited the brick kilns. The drive to Saigon was just over 2 hours and very comfortable. It didn’t feel like a travel day — it felt like a full adventure.
I loved every moment of this tour. From the pickup in Can Tho to arriving in Saigon, the whole day was smooth, enriching, and deeply relaxing. Hannah was a gem — so calm, knowledgeable, and always attentive to the group’s energy.
The coconut candy making was a highlight for my kids (they were amazed watching the pop rice explode!). The floating market was small, as expected, but the real joy was the scenery, music performance, and sampan through the canals — pure magic.
Lunch in the garden was fresh and delicious, and the visit to the brick kiln in Vinh Long was fascinating. I never imagined I’d find a brick oven so beautiful! This tour is perfect for travelers who want an authentic experience while also transitioning between cities.
