This tour gave me more than I expected. It was not just a transfer, it was a cultural immersion with Thomas — a warm and insightful guide.
I liked how every stop felt authentic, not touristy. The family-run coconut workshop was interactive, and the rice wine part made me laugh! The music performance on the island added a poetic touch, and the rowing boat ride… oh, it was like floating through a dream.
The food was excellent. I eat halal, and the team arranged vegetarian options for me ahead of time. Thank you! Ending in Ho Chi Minh City around 4 PM gave me time to rest and reflect. A wonderful day that touched the soul.
I joined this tour on my last day in the Mekong Delta before flying out of HCMC, and it was a perfect way to wrap up my trip. Chris was energetic, funny, and passionate about the region. His insights gave real depth to each stop.
I especially enjoyed the stop at the brick kiln — the heat, the texture, the artistry. Later, the boat ride across the Mekong gave me so many beautiful views. The coconut candy tasting was a sweet highlight, and the sampan ride through narrow channels was peaceful and photogenic.
Lunch was home-cooked and fresh — the elephant ear fish was served in the most charming way. I’d recommend this tour to anyone who wants to make the most of their travel day instead of just sitting in a car.
