A Cultural Immersion Like No Other

Lam’s guidance throughout the 2-day tour was outstanding. The coconut candy and pop rice workshop was fascinating and kid-friendly. The rowing sampan ride through the tranquil canals was serene and beautiful. The traditional music on the island added a special cultural touch. The home-cooked lunch was flavorful, and the pottery kiln visit was insightful. The homestay experience on An Binh islet was peaceful and authentic — cycling around the village and cooking dinner with locals felt very personal. Waking up in this quiet paradise was magical. Lam’s care and storytelling made the trip unforgettable.

Authentic Mekong Delta Experience with Warm Hospitality

This 2-day homestay tour in the Mekong Delta was a truly immersive and memorable journey. From the moment we met our guide Chris at Cai Be boat station, we felt welcomed and well cared for. Chris’s knowledge about the local crafts and culture made the visits to the coconut candy workshop and the floating market fascinating, even though the market is much smaller post-Covid.

The sampan ride through the canals on Tan Phong Islet was magical, and the peaceful garden lunch featuring elephant ear fish was delicious. After visiting the pottery kilns in Vinh Long, we headed to the An Binh islet homestay where the real highlight began.

Cycling around the islet with a local guide was a perfect way to see everyday life, and joining the homestay family to prepare our authentic dinner was such a special, hands-on experience. Chris ensured everything went smoothly, and after dinner, we had some relaxing free time in this tranquil setting.

Waking up to breakfast at the homestay and enjoying the peaceful morning was the perfect way to end the trip. This tour offers an authentic glimpse into Mekong life with warm hospitality — highly recommended!
