Loved the local vibes and slower pace

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this day turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Duy was super knowledgeable, spoke great English, and kept everything relaxed and conversational. He gave context without making it feel like a lecture. Seeing the coconut candy process and trying all the little local snacks was cool. The floating market is small, yes, but still interesting to pass by. Honestly, it was the quieter moments—the sampan through the tiny canal and the lunch in the garden—that stood out the most. The kiln in Vinh Long at the end was an unexpected bonus. A very human, very Mekong experience. Would definitely do again!
