From the moment Lâm greeted us at 5AM, we knew we were in good hands. He’s calm, funny, and deeply connected to the people we visited.
Seeing the floating market as the sun rose was one of those “I can’t believe I’m here” moments. The noodle-making was colorful and interactive, and the canals felt like another world — so green, so quiet.
The cycling part gave us a real workout, but we didn’t even notice — too busy taking in the rice fields, flowers, animals, and local life. The cacao was rich and earthy, and the VC ficus tree was like something out of a movie. Highly recommended for nature and culture lovers.
What I loved most was how real everything felt. No big groups, no rush. Just our small group, Thomas’s easygoing stories, and the Mekong waking up.
From the floating market to the canals and the biking, the whole day was like flipping through pages of a beautiful book. The noodle house family made us laugh, and their pizza was surprisingly tasty!
The cycling was smooth, not too hard, and the scenes were incredible — children bathing in streams, women washing veggies, men repairing nets. Cacao farm and fruit stops were educational and sweet. I’ll remember the giant ficus tree and Thomas’s explanation about wartime strategies for a long time.
