A Must-Do Adventure in Can Tho — Floating Markets, Biking & Local Culture

This tour packs so much into one incredible day! Our guide, Tien, picked us up early, and by 5:30 AM we were cruising through the Cai Rang floating market. It was amazing to see how locals live and work on the river. Tien even helped us chat with a few boat vendors—it felt like a real local experience.

We visited a charming noodle-making family, and it was fascinating to see the process. The noodle pizza was delicious! The boat ride through the small canals was serene, and we loved spotting water coconut trees and hearing only nature around us.

The bike ride through the countryside was just the right level of active. We stopped at an organic cacao farm, sampled cacao products, and continued through fruit gardens where we tasted fresh guava and longan. The visit to the giant ficus tree was surprisingly powerful—Tien gave us a great explanation about its role during the war.

We ended the tour with a delicious home-cooked lunch before being dropped off in the city. This is the ultimate Mekong Delta day trip—highly recommended!

The Perfect Mix of Culture, Nature & Local Life!

This full-day Can Tho tour was one of the best things we did in Vietnam! Our amazing guide, Minh, picked us up bright and early at 5:00 AM, and from the first moment, everything was perfectly organized. Watching the Cai Rang floating market come to life at sunrise was a magical experience. Minh shared great stories about river life, and we enjoyed the freshest pineapple right on the boat!

From there, we visited a traditional noodle house, saw how colorful noodles are made by hand, and even tasted a delicious noodle pizza made by the owner’s wife! The quiet sampan ride through the lush small canals was like stepping into a painting—so peaceful and green.

The bike ride through local villages was my favorite part. We passed fruit gardens, crossed monkey bridges, and even visited an organic cacao farm where we tasted fresh cacao milk. Minh was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making every stop meaningful.

This tour is perfect if you want to see the authentic Mekong Delta beyond the usual tourist spots. A big thank you to Minh and the team!
