J’ai adoré cette excursion de quelques heures à Bến Tre. Thomas était un guide passionné, avec un français impeccable, ce qui m’a vraiment permis de plonger dans la culture locale. On a visité un four traditionnel de briques, puis une maison sur les produits de coco — très instructif et interactif.
Le moment que j’ai préféré ? La balade en sampan dans les canaux bordés de cocotiers, si calme et pittoresque. Un vrai moment de déconnexion. À recommander absolument pour ceux qui veulent découvrir le Delta du Mékong autrement.
This short tour was one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip. Chris was an excellent guide — calm, informative, and very considerate. We started with a quiet boat ride to the brick kiln, where I was fascinated by how they still maintain this centuries-old method. The coconut workshop was a treat — I didn’t know coconuts had so many uses!
What stood out most to me was the Xe Lôi ride through the countryside. I felt like I was truly part of the village for a moment. Ending with a hand-rowed sampan weaving through the coconut canals was the perfect touch of serenity. If you’re in Ben Tre and have half a day, do this tour!
