Pick-up08:00 AM, the car driver (no tour guide) will pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to Ben Tre boat station (about 11:00 AM) where your tour guide will greet and welcome you for embarking the boat.

Traditional brick kilnArrive in Ben Tre, boarding the motor-boat at a pier and cruising on the Mekong River, visit the traditional brick kiln and pottery which is a very old fashion of making the mud brick of Mekong people.

Then, stopping at the local house about coconuts, got to know many things about coconut uses (coconut candy, wine, oil, mat, coco shell), the tour guide will explain about coco candy producing process at the local coconut workshop as well – very kid-friendly. Tours in group
Minh made us feel like friends, not tourists. Everything ran on time, the boat was comfortable, and every stop added something meaningful to the experience. I especially liked the coconut village – learning how the people make candy and oil by hand was eye-opening. The countryside was greener and more peaceful than I imagined. Lunch in the garden was delicious and beautifully presented. This was one of the most relaxing days I’ve had in Vietnam.
It was perfect for families! I traveled with my two boys (6 and 9), and they couldn’t stop talking about the coconut candy and the tuk-tuk ride. David was fantastic with children – he explained everything in a way they understood and kept them engaged the whole time. The mat weaving stop was hands-on, and my older son even tried it. Lunch was great (my picky eaters loved the spring rolls), and the rowing boat was a highlight. We came back to Saigon tired but happy.
