Nous avons adoré cette journée dans le delta du Mékong. Départ de Saigon à 8h, arrivée à Bến Tre vers 11h, et là… le calme, les cocotiers, les bateaux, les sourires. Lâm, notre guide, était passionné et chaleureux, il expliquait chaque détail avec humour.
La balade en bateau, les maisons artisanales, les dégustations de friandises à base de coco, le tissage des nattes – tout cela était authentique, sans folklore exagéré. Le moment que j’ai préféré : la promenade en sampan à la rame dans les petits canaux, silencieux et poétiques. On a terminé la journée à Cần Thơ vers 17h30, bien fatigués mais le cœur heureux. Merci Lâm pour cette magnifique journée!
I had only one day between meetings in Ho Chi Minh City and didn’t want to waste it. This tour turned out to be the best decision. From the moment we left HCMC, our guide Minh kept us engaged with stories of the Mekong and life in the Delta. The stop at the brick kiln was surprisingly fascinating — so raw and old-school. The coconut workshop was fun and tasty (I now know the difference between coconut oil and wine!).
What I loved most was riding the xe lôi through quiet villages. Felt like time slowed down. Lunch in the garden was simple but delicious — especially the elephant ear fish. I ended the day in Can Tho, tired but full of impressions. Minh was outstanding, kind, and full of insights. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to see the Mekong in just one day!
