Lam gave us a full cultural experience — engaging, friendly, and filled with personal touches. The Mekong countryside is so rich and alive. I loved riding the Xe Loi and catching glimpses of everyday life — people tending gardens, children waving from porches. The coconut workshop was great fun, but the hand-rowed sampan through the water coconut palms was truly breathtaking. Lam’s connection to the land was evident and moving. It felt genuine from start to finish.
Hannah guided us with such sincerity that I forgot I was even on a tour. It felt like visiting a friend’s village. She helped us understand the deeper meaning behind every stop — from coconut candy to sedge mats, from river life to local craftsmanship. The lunch in the garden was fresh and wholesome. Her respect for the locals, and how she shared that with us, was beautiful to witness. It was emotional in a very quiet, grounding way.
