Our guide Lam made every moment feel purposeful and exciting. Whether we were watching mats being woven by hand or bumping through the villages on the Xe Loi, I felt like we were truly immersed in local life. He answered all our questions with passion and gave us context that made the scenes come alive. The coconut candy tasting was fun — especially seeing it made! The highlight for me was our riverside lunch: fresh, flavorful, and shared with new friends. This is how travel should be.
Our guide Duy welcomed us like old friends, and from the moment we stepped onto the boat in Ben Tre, we were swept into the gentle rhythm of life on the Mekong. The brick kiln was like stepping into a history book, and watching locals at the coconut workshop made me realize how rich and resourceful the culture here is. Duy explained everything with such clarity and warmth, especially during the sampan ride through the canals — it was peaceful and soul-stirring. I came away deeply moved and grateful.
