I still smile thinking about this Ben Tre tour — it was one of those days that feel both peaceful and alive. We started early, and Minh, our guide, immediately set the tone with his warm laugh and deep knowledge. The brick kiln was surprisingly beautiful — red dust, old smoke, and hardworking locals shaping every brick by hand. At the coconut house, I was amazed how nothing goes to waste: from candy to oil to wine, all from one fruit! The Xe Lôi ride through narrow paths made me feel like a child again, waving to families and kids on bicycles. Lunch in the garden was slow and full of laughter — the elephant ear fish was perfection. But what stayed with me most was the kindness of the people. You come for coconuts but leave with something much deeper — a sense of connection.
From start to finish, everything felt authentic and beautifully paced. Chris shared stories that made every stop meaningful. The mat-weaving ladies were so sweet, and I loved how proud they were of their craft. The Xe Lôi ride was such a highlight — breezy, scenic, and a bit wild! Lunch was the best meal I’ve had in Vietnam, full of fresh herbs and flavor. Ben Tre, you’ve given me memories I’ll carry home with joy.
