What an eye-opening day! Duy took us far beyond the tourist spots — from the brick kiln to the coconut house, every stop showed real life in the Delta. Watching how families still weave mats by hand was inspiring. The Xe Lôi ride was my favorite, bumpy but full of charm! The locals waved and smiled as we passed their homes. Ending with a hand-rowed sampan through the coconut canals felt peaceful and grounding. You really feel the heartbeat of Ben Tre here.
I didn’t expect to feel so connected to this place. The tour started at 8 a.m., and Logan immediately made everyone comfortable with his humor and stories. The coconut workshop was amazing — the workers were smiling and invited us to try some candies fresh from the pot! The small boat through the canals was serene, and I could hear nothing but birds and paddles touching the water. The home lunch with elephant ear fish was so good I had to ask for seconds. Bellissimo experience!
