There’s something about the Mekong that stays with you — and this tour captured it perfectly. Duy, our guide, was full of stories and jokes, making everyone feel part of a small family. The brick kiln looked like an ancient painting — orange light, smoke, silhouettes of workers. The coconut house was alive with sounds of chopping, boiling, and laughter. We rode the Xe Lôi through small villages, passing rice fields and fruit gardens, waving at everyone. Lunch was a joy: elephant ear fish, rice, and tropical fruit — everything tasted fresh and soulful. The last part, rowing quietly through coconut canals, felt like the world had slowed to a whisper. I’ll never forget the smiles — simple, real, unforgettable.
This was such a heartwarming experience. From the moment Jade welcomed us, I felt we were in good hands. She spoke with love about the people of Ben Tre — their quiet pride and connection to the coconut. The visit to the coconut house was fascinating; we tasted candies, sipped coconut wine, and laughed with the locals. I adored the Xe Lôi ride — it was rustic, fun, and gave us a peek into daily life. Lunch under the trees was unforgettable — the flavors were bright, fresh, and full of care. The sampan ride through the canals was the perfect ending, just water, sunlight, and peace. It wasn’t just a tour; it was a glimpse into another rhythm of life.
