Pick-up08:00 AM, the car driver (no tour guide) will pick you up from your hotel in Can Tho City and transfer to Ben Tre boat station (about 11:00 AM) where your tour guide will greet and welcome you for embarking the boat.

What a charming and beautiful experience! I joined this tour with my boyfriend, and it turned out to be one of the most special days on our Vietnam trip. We were picked up in Can Tho and reached Ben Tre by late morning, where Duy welcomed us with the biggest smile.
He took us first to a small brick kiln, then to a coconut house where we saw how coconut candy is made – and of course we got to try it! I loved learning how many things they make from coconuts. Duy explained everything with passion and humor.
The countryside ride on the Xe Lôi was simple but memorable. Kids waved at us, and we got a true sense of rural life. The lunch was tasty and peaceful, with a hammock area where we chilled for a bit. And that sampan ride at the end – wow! Floating in silence through the coconut palms was like entering another world.
I traveled with my parents and was initially worried about the heat and logistics, but everything went so smoothly thanks to Thomas. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the day and gave detailed explanations in a calm, friendly tone that my parents really appreciated.
The boat ride in Ben Tre was peaceful and scenic. We stopped at several places, but what stood out was the mat weaving village. The women were incredibly skilled, and Thomas helped translate so we could ask them questions. It felt respectful and authentic.
Lunch was a real highlight – lots of fresh dishes served in a shaded garden. We tried the elephant ear fish, and my dad even asked for seconds! Afterward, the hand-rowed sampan ride was cool and relaxing. On the drive back to Can Tho, we all agreed this had been one of our favorite days in Vietnam.
