Pick-up08:00 AM, the car driver (no tour guide) will pick you up from your hotel in Can Tho City and transfer to Ben Tre boat station (about 11:00 AM) where your tour guide will greet and welcome you for embarking the boat.

I wanted a break from the usual touristy sights and this tour gave me just that. We were picked up at our hotel in Can Tho at 8 AM and reached Ben Tre just before 11, where David greeted us warmly at the pier. From the moment we stepped onto the boat, I knew we were in good hands.
David showed us the old brick kilns first – a humble but fascinating part of local industry. Then we visited a coconut house that opened my eyes to how versatile the coconut is. Coconut candy, oil, wine, even utensils! We tasted fresh samples and even got to watch part of the candy-making process.
The lunch in the orchard was so peaceful. The elephant ear fish was delicious, and we had time to relax under the trees. My favorite part was the sampan ride – we floated through a narrow, shady canal with just the sound of the paddle dipping into the water. This felt like seeing the real Vietnam.
Este tour fue un verdadero respiro. Desde Can Tho salimos temprano con un conductor muy amable, y al llegar a Ben Tre, Hannah ya nos esperaba con toda la energía del mundo. La navegación en bote fue muy tranquila, pasando por zonas verdes y silenciosas, viendo la vida diaria en los márgenes del río.
Lo que más me gustó fue la parte del coco – ver cómo hacen caramelos, vino, aceite, todo artesanal. Hannah nos explicó con muchos detalles y buen humor. Probamos varias cosas y todo tenía sabor natural, sin artificios.
El paseo en Xe Lôi fue divertido y auténtico, y el almuerzo… increíble. El pescado, las verduras frescas, todo en un jardín precioso. La parte final en el sampán fue mágica – silencio, naturaleza, agua. Volvimos a Can Tho al final del día con una sonrisa enorme. 100% recomendado.
