Pick-up08:00 AM, the car driver (no tour guide) will pick you up from your hotel in Can Tho City and transfer to Ben Tre boat station (about 11:00 AM) where your tour guide will greet and welcome you for embarking the boat.

What a memorable day from start to finish. I was picked up from my hotel in Can Tho, and after a smooth ride to Ben Tre, I met Chris – warm, energetic, and full of fun facts. From the moment we boarded the boat, I felt completely immersed in this beautiful region.
The brick kiln was surprisingly interesting – so simple, yet so traditional. But what truly fascinated me was the coconut workshop. I had no idea coconuts could be turned into so many things! Chris made everything feel interactive – we even got to try fresh coconut candy right off the fire.
The Xe Lôi ride was bumpy in the best way, cruising through peaceful villages and rice fields. Lunch was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in Vietnam – fresh, homey, and full of flavor. Ending the tour with a hand-rowed sampan was such a peaceful experience. It’s a must-do for anyone who wants to see the real Mekong Delta.
This tour gave me a deeper understanding of the Mekong region. Thomas was a wonderful guide – funny, knowledgeable, and always checking that we were comfortable. I appreciated the pacing of the tour – no rush, just smooth transitions from place to place.
The coconut house was especially interesting. Thomas even showed us how to crack open a coconut properly! The mat weaving stop gave us a glimpse into the patience and artistry of the women. We took turns trying it – mine looked like a spaghetti mess!
Lunch in the tropical garden was delicious – the fresh herbs with the fish were a flavor explosion. Ending the day with a quiet sampan ride through the narrow canals was the perfect way to reflect. We arrived back in Can Tho around sunset – tired but happy.
