    A Journey of Senses

After our pick-up in Can Tho, the drive to Ben Tre gave us time to admire the landscapes. Danh welcomed us with a soft voice and wide smile. From the first step on the boat, I felt immersed in something special. The brick kiln was dusty, warm, and full of life — a real look at the work that shapes the region. At the coconut workshop, Danh showed us how people make so much out of one fruit — wine, oil, sweets, and crafts. I admired the creativity and the skill. Cruising through coconut canals was like floating through a living painting. Visiting a weaving family and hearing their stories through Danh’s translation was deeply moving. The Xe Loi ride was my favorite — I couldn’t stop smiling. The garden lunch was authentic and full of flavor, and Danh made sure we all felt at home. The sampan ride was pure tranquility, paddled gently through narrow channels with green walls of coconut trees. I left with a sense of joy, peace, and connection — all thanks to Danh’s care.

Tranquility and Tradition in One Unforgettable Day

From Can Tho to Ben Tre, the journey itself was peaceful, and when we met Minh, I knew we were in for something special. Cruising on the Mekong River, the light shimmered on the water like silk. At the brick kiln, Minh gave us a detailed explanation of how these clay bricks are crafted — it’s hard work and an art. At the coconut workshop, I was fascinated by how nothing goes to waste. We tried candy, sipped coconut wine, and even held a coconut-shell cup carved by hand. Cruising through the canals felt like a dream — the stillness, the green everywhere. Walking through a quiet village and seeing women weaving mats was so touching. The Xe Loi tuk tuk was a fun way to see even more hidden areas. Lunch was heavenly — fresh elephant ear fish with herbs and rice paper wraps, eaten under a shady garden roof. Rowing the sampan through peaceful coconut groves was a slow, magical farewell. Minh was kind, insightful, and deeply respectful of the local culture. I’ll remember this day for a long, long time.
