Hannah was our guide and she made the whole journey feel personal and emotional. She brought the Can Tho Bridge to life with her storytelling. At the brick kiln, she explained the hard but proud work that went into each brick. Later, as we drifted into the narrow hidden canals, I was moved by the pure, simple happiness of local life — barefoot kids laughing, women washing clothes by hand, the rich smell of the river in the air. Eating sweet pineapple while the sky blushed with sunset colors was an unforgettable moment. Thank you, Hannah!
Our afternoon with Thomas was pure enchantment. After admiring the iconic Can Tho Bridge from our sampan, Thomas surprised us by guiding us into an old brick kiln, hidden away from crowds. I loved hearing about the old techniques and traditions. The untouched, narrow canals later were beyond beautiful — serene waters, tropical vegetation, and spontaneous moments like kids waving at us from the shore. Fresh fruits never tasted better than on that peaceful river, and Thomas’s passion for his homeland shone through every story he shared.
