Our guide Duy turned what I thought would be a simple boat ride into an emotional, deep journey into the heart of Can Tho. The towering Can Tho Bridge from below was stunning, but visiting the traditional brick kiln, where generations have labored with love, gave me chills. The canals Duy brought us through were like a secret world — quiet, untouched, and breathtakingly beautiful. Watching kids dive into the golden river while we floated quietly by made me tear up. Add to that the sweet taste of tropical fruits, and you have a memory for a lifetime.
Our afternoon with guide Danh was nothing short of magical. We drifted past the majestic Can Tho Bridge, marveling at its impressive size from the water, before heading towards an ancient brick kiln that told stories of time and craftsmanship. Danh was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing local legends and explaining every detail with passion. But the highlight was gliding silently into the secret canals, where we watched the setting sun paint the sky gold as children splashed and laughed around us. Fresh fruits were served on the sampan, making it a truly immersive experience. I felt connected to the soul of the Mekong. Thank you, Danh!
