When people ask me what to see in Mekong today. I tell them view our MekongDelta365.
Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
Such a balanced tour — culture, nature, food, history. Floating market was vibrant and not staged. The noodle workshop felt like visiting a family friend. The garden was fragrant, and the biking gave us fresh air and insight. Cacao milk? Delicious.
But the highlight for me was the forest. I sat in silence on the boat for 15 minutes, just listening to birds and wind. Lâm told us to “enjoy the quiet” — and he was right.
This tour goes way deeper than the typical Mekong tour. Minh was a phenomenal guide — he talked about the disappearing floating markets, war history, and climate change, but without ever sounding boring.
I loved the slow ride through the canals, and the moment the woman paddled by with a basket of fish — no tourists, just real life. Noodle pizza was crispy, the cacao drink was refreshing, and the wetland trekking made me feel small in the best way.
