Can Tho rice noodle factory (not rice paper)Firstly, we do not want you to miss this place. They call it a factory but actually it is run by a family and a lot more authentic than you expect (no shops, no souvenirs). Secondly, the rice noodle is not rice paper. How and Why? Your guide will tell you! You’ll be impressed by the colorful rice noodles, and how fascinating the rice noodles are made by locals. The family will serve you the yummy rice noodle pizza made by the member of the family….

Can Tho tropical fruit gardenIt is an educational and fun trip to learn some things about the trees and fruits, leaves and flowers at the fruit garden.
Your lovely sampan keeps exploring the waterways and reaching to the local tropical orchard, your guide will share a lot of information about native tropical plants in the region, and you can savor some fresh seasonal fruits. -
Can Tho secret canals, quiet, empty and with no touristsWhat a romantic trip! Leave the crowds and the market behind and enjoy an intimate peaceful sampan ride in the secret canals on the way back to the city. Watching the local children playing in the water, the locals preparing things for 10AM-breakfast. You may catch the silhouettes of a gentle woman quietly taking guests across the canals by a tiny boat and the more.

Can Tho Rice Noodle Factory & Villages
Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
There’s something incredibly soulful about this sunrise tour. It’s not flashy or staged — it’s a quiet, respectful way of stepping into someone else’s daily rhythm.
Our guide Hannah was lovely — full of facts, but also very intuitive. She gave space when we wanted to just watch, and shared deeply when we asked questions.
The floating market, with vendors serving breakfast and kids helping parents, felt like a window into real life. The noodle soup was comforting and tasty, and the pineapple we had later was honestly the best I’ve ever eaten.
I really appreciated visiting the noodle-making family. No gimmicks, just their work and hospitality.
And the last part — drifting silently through those hidden canals — made me feel something I didn’t expect. Peace, connection, maybe even a bit of nostalgia for a place I’ve only just met.
I booked this sunrise tour kind of on a whim and didn’t expect it to be the highlight of my trip. But it was.
Thomas, our guide, was exceptional — warm, informative, and so connected to the people we met. We started in the dark, and by the time we reached the floating market, the colors were just coming alive.
Breakfast on the boat was such a cool experience — pho cooked by a vendor right there on the water, and Thomas made sure we had options for everyone.
I loved learning how rice noodles are made, especially seeing how much work goes into every step. And that noodle cracker we tried? Super tasty!
The canals were peaceful and dreamy — birds overhead, reflections of trees in the water. It felt like we were in a painting.
I recommend this tour to anyone looking for a gentle, thoughtful way to experience the Mekong.
