Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
This early morning tour of Can Tho’s floating market and secret canals was truly magical. Our guide Duy picked us up right on time and made the whole experience so engaging with his deep knowledge and enthusiasm.
Watching the Cai Rang floating market come alive at sunrise was a highlight — Duy explained everything about the market’s history and challenges with such passion. The vegetarian noodle soup he arranged was delicious and comforting on the boat.
Visiting the family-run rice noodle “factory” was eye-opening. We loved seeing the colorful noodles made by hand and tasting the unique rice noodle pizza — a local specialty we’d never imagined!
The peaceful ride through the Phong Dien canals felt like a journey into a hidden paradise, surrounded by stunning greenery and the gentle sounds of nature. The sampan gliding quietly through the water created a perfect moment of tranquility.
The tour finished smoothly back at our hotel, and we felt completely connected to the vibrant river life of Can Tho. Highly recommend this authentic experience!
Our guide Duy was outstanding. The floating market was bustling but full of charm, and Duy’s explanations helped us appreciate its importance deeply. The rice noodle making process was fascinating, and the peaceful canal ride was a wonderful way to connect with the natural beauty of Can Tho. Duy’s care for the group, especially the vegetarian options, was appreciated. Highly recommended!
