The village also boasts several varieties of roses in different colours of red, violet, pink, white and orange.

Xeo Quyt forest and Hand-rowing sampanThe next stop is the magnificent 52-hectare Xeo Quyt forest. One vast swamp beneath a beautiful thick canopy of tall trees and vines, it hides the remains of Viet Cong bunkers, which can be seen by rowing sampan inside the forest.

This tour was so well-balanced: flowers, forest, history, and food. Thomas guided us gently, with a calm energy that let us fully soak in each place.
Sa Dec flower village is a living mosaic. Not touristy at all — locals actually tending to their blooms. The Xeo Quyt forest took me by surprise; it was like entering a hidden jungle. Floating silently through the water, with birds overhead and vines all around, felt otherworldly.
The house in Sa Dec was a lovely end — quiet, preserved, full of charm. Thank you, Thomas, for making this such a peaceful and meaningful day.
Vi havde en utrolig god dag med Lâm. Han var rolig, imødekommende og vidende. Alt gik i et godt tempo — ikke for hurtigt, ikke for langsomt.
Blomsterlandsbyen i Sa Dec var farverig og fredelig. Jeg nød at gå mellem de mange rækker af blomster og høre om, hvordan familier her lever af deres håndværk. Xeo Quyt-skoven var en anden verden — med trærødder og gamle bunkere. Lâm fortalte os om historien med respekt og varme.
Vi sluttede af ved det smukke gamle hus fra The Lover. Et sted fuld af romantik og fortid. Fantastisk tur!
