Sadec flower villageVisit Sadec flower village where tourists seem to be lost in a fairyland, full of colours and aromas of diverse flowers and plants, namely dahlia, hydrangeas, orchids, areca, wrightia religiosa, hibiskus rosa-sinensis and African marigold. The village also boasts several varieties of roses in different colours of red, violet, pink, white and orange.

Xeo Quyt forest and Hand-rowing sampanThe next stop is the magnificent 52-hectare Xeo Quyt forest. One vast swamp beneath a beautiful thick canopy of tall trees and vines, it hides the remains of Viet Cong bunkers, which can be seen by rowing sampan inside the forest.

This tour is short but unforgettable. Thomas met us right on time and kept the mood relaxed but informative. The flower village was unreal—like someone painted the whole town with blossoms. The Xeo Quyt forest was mesmerizing, especially knowing what happened there. You could feel the weight of history while floating quietly under that green canopy. And the ancient house had such romantic charm. A wonderful contrast of colors, silence, and emotion all packed into one perfect morning.
I loved every second of this tour. The pickup was right on time, and Lam made us feel welcome immediately. The flower village was out of a fairy tale, and the locals tending to their blossoms made it even more heartwarming. The quiet boat ride through Xeo Quyt was almost spiritual—it was hard to believe such peace could exist in a former war zone. Finishing with the iconic house from The Lover was the perfect bittersweet ending.
